Course Description

The Handtevy Instructor Course is an 8-hour in-person lecture and hands-on training designed to certify instructors to teach the Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation & Readiness Course (PRRC). This course is delivered in a traditional classroom format led by a Handtevy Lead Trainer and provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and instructional tools needed to deliver the PRRC confidently within their own organization.

The course uses the foundational principles of advanced life support education while addressing the unique considerations of pediatric emergency care in the pre-hospital environment. Participants will develop instructional proficiency, enhance their pediatric resuscitation knowledge, and learn how to translate these skills into measurable improvements in clinical quality and provider confidence.
