The Handtevy Instructor Course is an 8-hour in-person lecture and hands-on training designed to certify instructors to teach the Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation & Readiness Course (PRRC) and/or the Handtevy Newborn Resuscitation & Obstetrics Course (NROC). This course is delivered in a traditional classroom format led by a Handtevy Lead Trainer and provides participants with the knowledge, skills, and instructional tools needed to deliver the PRRC confidently within their own organization.
The course uses the foundational principles of advanced life support education while addressing the unique considerations of pediatric emergency care in the pre-hospital environment. Participants will develop instructional proficiency, enhance their pediatric resuscitation knowledge, and learn how to translate these skills into measurable improvements in clinical quality and provider confidence.

Delivery Format: Live, In-Person Classroom
CAPCE Accredited: 8.0 CE Hours
Course Content

The Blended Handtevy Pre-Hospital Instructor Course is designed to prepare qualified clinicians and educators to teach the Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation & Readiness Course (PRRC). This 8-hour blended course includes a 3-hour self-paced online component hosted on the Handtevy Learning Management System (LMS) and a 5-hour virtual instructor-led training session delivered live via Zoom.
Participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and teaching strategies needed to effectively deliver the PRRC at their agency or institution. The course focuses on evidence-based pediatric resuscitation, high-performance team dynamics, and practical integration of the Handtevy System into prehospital and emergency care.

- Online Self-Paced Learning (3-hours)

- Instructional methodology and course facilitation
